POSTER SESSION
Come see what the next generation of researchers, engineers and industry professionals are doing within the composites and advanced materials industry. This friendly competition will showcase:
- Innovations in material science
- Composites/advanced materials vs. traditional materials
- Composites/advanced materials in construction
- Improvements in durability, fire resistance, energy production, or sustainability
Winners will be selected based on two criteria; overall presentation and also commercial applications and will be announced at the Closing Luncheon.

CLOSING LUNCHEON – Composites and Sports
Composites are revolutionizing the sports equipment industry. Athletes are taking notice of the “composites difference”, and sporting goods companies are responding by incorporating composites into their products. Join us for lunch and hear our panel of experts who will discuss some of the equipment trends for the sports they manufacture and design for, the benefits of composites and how composites can become commonplace in sports. The panel will also discuss how tariffs and the workforce shortage in the United States are affecting production and sourcing. This is sure to be an interesting discussion that will help you watch your favorite sporting events with a new “composites” lens.
