ACMA / SAMPE Events
ASTM D30 on Composite Materials will meet over a day in a half to discuss standard test methods, practices, terminology, and guides, primarily pertaining but not limited to aerospace. Discussions will include new and revised ASTM standard test methods on laminate fracture toughness, sandwich facesheet disbonding, bolted and bonded joints, and terminology within the composites industry.

Additive Manufacturing Conference at CAMXComposites is one of the fastest growing areas for additive manufacturing. This comprehensive workshop will focus on the materials and applications for 3D printing production parts for composites. This workshop will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Learn more.

Approximate rates to & from Anaheim:
- Shuttle Services: starting at $13 per person/one way
- Taxi: metered rates, ranging from $95-$125 per car or van load/one way.
Los Angeles International Airport
Approximate rates to & from Anaheim:

- Taxi: metered rates, ranging from $95-$125 per car or van load/one way.
Long Beach Airport
Approximate rates to & from Anaheim:

Standard Rate: $16.00

CAMX will provide a letter of invitation to registered attendees and exhibitors. Letters will be made available after the registration process is completed and paid in full. To generate a Visa letter, you will need to Log back in to your registration and access “My Account”. It is recommended that you have this letter for your visa application and interview.
The following is required when requesting a letter of invitation:- Full name as it appears on Passport
- Passport nationality
- Passport number and expiration date
- Personal address/phone/email
Registrants will have immediate access to their letters and will be made available to print immediately and can be saved as a PDF document.
Note: Country entry procedures are the responsibility of the individual, not CAMX. CAMX will not intervene with any decisions made by any government on behalf of the attendee nor accept responsibility for a filed entry visa. Please be aware that companies other than the CAMX official housing provider (Conference Direct) may contact you and indicate that they are affiliated with CAMX, ACMA or SAMPE, and claim to offer hotels at ‘reduced’ rates. These companies are not affiliated in any way with CAMX and it is highly recommended that you do not use their services. At past events, exhibitors and attendees have used these companies and lost deposits or did not receive the hotel rooms they reserved. The CAMX Housing Bureau, Conference Direct, is the ONLY authorized hotel reservations contact.
Solicitors may also offer to sell you the CAMX attendee list. Please know that CAMX does not offer the attendee list for sale. These companies are not affiliated with CAMX.If you receive solicitations from other companies, please forward them to Lauren McLean at lauren@sampe.org
Shuttle buses will not be provided as all host hotels are within walking distance to the San Diego Convention Center.
