CAMX Announces General Session Presenter, Lockheed Martin’s Gregory Ulmer
Monday, June 7, 2021, DIAMOND BAR, CA – CAMX – the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo , North America’s largest composites and advanced materials industry event, announces its general session speaker at the in-person conference taking place in Dallas, TX, on October 19-21, 2021. Gregory M. Ulmer, Executive Vice President of the Aeronautics business area for Lockheed Martin Corporation will be presenting his insights on the influence of composite materials and how companies can maximize advances in different manufacturing processes in his presentation, “Mission Ready: Composites Innovations in Defense.” He will also emphasize how composites materials play a significant role in the following areas:
- Aerospace – Discover how aerospace has, and is, influencing other market segments.
- Supply Chain and Circular Economy – Understand how to ensure strong supply chain management.
- Sustainability – Learn about the importance of sustainment and modernization to stay competitive.

Gregory (Greg) M. Ulmer is the Executive Vice President (EVP) of the Aeronautics business area for Lockheed Martin Corporation. Throughout his career, Mr. Ulmer has led several critical projects for Lockheed Martin, including initiatives for the F-35 Lightning II Program and Vice President of Operations for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Advanced Development Programs (ADP), also known as the Skunk Works®. Other critical leadership projects include efforts as the C-5 Vice President and Program Manager responsible for the overall operations and leadership of the C-5 Reliability Enhancement and Re-Engining Program and the Avionics Modernization Program; the C-130 Deputy Program Manager for Operations; C-130 Air Vehicle Director; Deputy Chief Engineer and Flight Test Integrated Product Team (IPT) Senior Manager and more. Mr. Ulmer began his career as a flight test engineer supporting the MD-11, C-17, and C-130J programs from first flight through certification for all three aircraft.
