CAMX Announces Co-Location with IFAI for CAMX 2018

The Composites and Advanced Materials Premier Expo Co-Locates with the Industrial Fabrics Association International Expo 2018, Expanding its Unique Audiences and Attracting New Markets

November 1, 2017 (Arlington, VA)CAMX – The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo, in its fifth year, will co-locate with IFAI Expo 2018. CAMX is North America’s go-to composites event for products, solutions, networking and advanced industry thinking, and the IFAI Expo is the premier industrial fabrics expo for new and innovative products, as well as education and networking with experts and influential industry leaders. The co-location of events unites the strengths of both groups – combining all aspects of these world-class industry expos, and highlights machining products to the attendees of both expos.

CAMX, co-produced by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) has seen substantial growth since its launch in 2014. “We are pleased to be able to offer the CAMX attendees access to a new set of exhibitors that are of interest to them, without having to attend a separate event.” said Heather Rhoderick, CAMX Show Director.

Next year, with the co-location with IFAI, attendees and exhibitors will benefit from expanded networking and sharing among the impressive national and international audiences that CAMX and IFAI attract, plus new innovations and exhibits related to both events. While the exhibit halls of both groups will be combined, the conference programming and registration of the two events remain separate.

“The goal of this co-location is to expand the relationship between the technical textiles and composites industries for our attendees and exhibitors,” said Andrew Aho, IFAI Vice President of New Business Development. “We want to capitalize on the current synergy between these industries, and promote future collaboration.”

CAMX 2018 with the IFAI Expo 2018 will be held October 15 – 18, 2018, at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, TX. Booth sales for CAMX 2018 have already begun. Visit the CAMX website at https://www.thecamx.org to learn more.
