Registration and Housing Open for CAMX 2017

CAMX 2017 is North America’s premier composites and advanced materials event that delivers the right exhibitions, the right educational programs and the right people – all in one place.

May 3, 2017 (Orlando, Fla.) – Registration and housing are available for CAMX 2017 – September 11-14, 2017 in Orlando, Fla. Now in its fourth year, CAMX-The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo, co-produced by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE), is North America’s premier event for composite products, solutions, networking, and advanced industry thinking.

CAMX is an all-encompassing event that connects and advances all of the world’s composites and advanced materials communities – research and development, engineering, manufacturing, service providers and end users. According to a CAMX 2016 post-event survey, 99 percent of attendees recommend CAMX.

“Many in our industry have called CAMX the ‘ultimate meeting of the minds,’” says Tom Dobbins, ACMA President. “During the event, you have a great opportunity to meet with influential decision makers, make new connections, expand your reach into untapped markets, generate sales, increase your exposure and gain exclusive market intelligence.”

Last year, CAMX welcomed nearly 8,000 attendees from 52 countries and every state in the United States. The conference program featured two new events: CAMX Live! – a series of keynote speakers who highlighted innovation in 3-D printing, architecture and aerospace; and the CAMX Race – a scavenger hunt-style competition where students put their knowledge of composites to the test. The show also featured informative program sessions that informed attendees about key developments and trends in the composites and advanced materials industry. The Exhibit Hall featured more than 540 companies displaying the latest advancements in composites and advanced materials innovation.

“Nearly 80 percent of CAMX attendees spent more than five hours in the Exhibit Hall last year,” said SAMPE CEO Gregg Balko. “We had over 1,000 new attendees who were blown away by the quantity and quality of new products and technologies, as well as the captivating live demonstrations on the floor.”

Housing and registration is now open. Discounted registration rates and housing rates are offered until August 19, 2017. For more information, please visit http://www.thecamx.org/registration.
