Technical Papers are 25-minute presentations and include formal written research papers reviewed by industry peers. Find presentations that address critical areas important to the composites and advanced materials industry from business, applications, and research perspectives.
Technical Paper submissions will open mid-December and close February 28, 2020.
Education Sessions are typically 45 minutes long (some may be longer) and are not accompanied by formal research papers, instead they focus more on case studies, best practices, issue reviews, etc. These sessions are presented as lectures, panels, and/or discussions by subject area experts and will provide you with valuable information in a multitude of areas.
Education Sessions submissions will open mid-December and close February 28, 2020.
Technical Content, Value, and Relevance:
- Does the abstract address a topic of interest to CAMX attendees?
Originality and Innovation:
- Is the research novel and interesting?
- Does the abstract offer a unique perspective or application that adds value for an attendee
- Does the content of the abstract reflect the title?
- Is the abstract well written and grammatically correct?
- Are the learning outcomes clearly identified?
- Does the abstract avoid commercialism?
CAMX technical committees will review each abstract submission and determine whether or not to include it in the conference program. The CAMX technical committees will also work to balance the overall conference with all sessions to avoid overlap wherever possible. The primary submitters of the abstracts will be notified via email whether or not their abstracts were selected.
Submission of an abstract and paper does NOT guarantee acceptance as a speaker at the conference. Submissions may be rejected in later stages if the submission no longer aligns with the original abstract submission or is determined to be too commercial. All obvious commercial sales pitches will not be accepted for a presentation. Feedback will be provided to all applicants as to whether or not they are accepted to the conference program.
