Orlando, FL — [September 30, 2025] — The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX) 2025 took place in Orlando, Florida from September 8-11, bringing together nearly 6,000 attendees and more than 500 exhibitors from across the globe for four days of innovation, collaboration, and industry-shaping conversations.
Co-produced by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE), CAMX continues to serve as the North American premier platform for accelerating the growth and adoption of composites and advanced materials worldwide.
This year’s event opened with a powerful general session led by ACMA CEO Cindy Squires and SAMPE CEO Rebekah Stacha, who spoke candidly about the evolving global landscape. With new developments reshaping supply chains, they highlighted how this moment presents both challenges and opportunities for the industry—and how CAMX offers an essential space to navigate them.
“CAMX 2025 showcased the incredible resilience and innovation of our industry,” said Cindy Squires Esq., President & CEO of ACMA. “From sustainability to next-generation applications, the conversations and partnerships formed here will propel composites forward at a time when the world needs our solutions more than ever.”
Attendees were treated to a thought-provoking keynote titled “Future-Proofing Innovation: Sheryl Connelly’s Roadmap for Navigating Uncertainty.” Connelly, the former futurist at Ford Motor Company, challenged conventional thinking and offered a strategic blueprint for thriving in an unpredictable world. She urged industry leaders to prepare for the future rather than attempt to predict it, sharing five “secrets” for confidently navigating uncertainty.
“What makes CAMX so impactful is its ability to bring together every part of the supply chain, from researchers and engineers to manufacturers and end-users,” said Rebekah Stacha, CEO of SAMPE. “And that is why gathering at CAMX is more important now that ever. This is where ideas become action, and where the collaborations we build today shape the future of advanced materials tomorrow.”
Throughout the week, attendees explored a robust show floor featuring live demonstrations in the Demo Zone and a newly introduced networking hub, The Hive — sponsored by ST Engineering, designed to connect first-time attendees, industry newcomers, and professionals eager to build relationships and trade insights. The 2025 conference program offered more than 120 presentations, along with two prestigious awards programs that drew a record-breaking number of submissions and finalists. This year featured 29 CAMX Award finalists, 40 ACE Award finalists, 14 exhibitor-led CAMX Theater presentations, and 24 posters highlighting the latest innovations and research in the industry.
The week concluded with Good Day, CAMX: Next-Gen Leaders: Young Professionals Driving the Future of Composites and Advanced Materials, an engaging panel spotlighting rising engineers and entrepreneurs who are reshaping materials science, manufacturing, and sustainability. Panelists discussed how emerging leaders are breaking barriers, redefining leadership, and driving the next era of composites innovation—and challenged companies to better engage, empower, and learn from next-generation talent.
Save the date: CAMX 2026 will take place September 21–24, 2026, in Atlanta, GA—bringing the composites and advanced materials community back together for another year of innovation and collaboration.
