Congratulate Industry Leaders at Our Ceremonies
Both producing Associations recognize industry leaders at events during CAMX. Tickets are available to all events, which take place at the start and end of CAMX, so be sure to plan your travel accordingly.
The SAMPE Fellows Award is a SAMPE society award that recognizes members for distinguished contributions in the fields of materials and processes over an extended time period. Presented on Monday evening, during the SAMPE Award Ceremony, October 26th.
The ACMA Membership Awards recognize exceptional people who have done their part in advancing the field of composites or the Association. Presented during the ACMA Closing Luncheon on Thursday, October 29th.

CAMX Career Connections Start Now
The CAMX Virtual Career Fair has begun. Connecting CAMX job seekers with CAMX attendee companies looking to hire within the composites and advanced materials industry, the Virtual Career Fair, provided by CompositeIndustryJobs.com, is free of charge for all job seekers and CAMX attendee companies. The online postings will be available until October 31, 2015, and you can see the listings at CAMX on job boards next to Registration in Dallas.
Get Ready for CAMX
As you prepare for CAMX, here are a few tips to keep in mind:
- Onsite attire is business casual.
- Shuttle Buses from CAMX hotels run Monday – Thursday.
- The average temperature in Dallas is 56 – 79 ºF (13 – 26 ºC) during October. Session rooms in the Convention Center can be cool, so a light sweater or jacket is recommended.
- Visit the Travel Logistics page for discounts on car rentals and other transportation.
- A bag and coat check will be available at CAMX on Thursday, Oct. 29.
- Make dinner reservations before you arrive! CAMX suggests the Downtown, Uptown or Arts Districts area. Find out more.
