How to Network in CAMX | A Virtual Experience

Networking in person is easy . . . you run into your contemporaries in the hallway, or you meet up for a cup of coffee, do a little business and move on. But how do you do that in a virtual event? Easy! Your registration form is the key to making networking intuitive and fun to use.

First, complete the full registration form when signing up for CAMX, including the demographic questions. CAMX has recruited a little “artificial intelligence” (AI) to help us all connect and network, and these questions help the AI-matchmaking system provide you with suggested sessions, exhibiting companies, and contacts you may be interested in once you log in to the CAMX Virtual platform.

Second, once you’ve registered, you can then log in and complete your networking profile. This step is also vital to a successful virtual networking experience. In addition to allowing your peers to learn more about you, it again provides our AI-powered networking system with more information to better match you with relevant contacts. So, provide as much detail as you can about yourself and what you are looking to do at CAMX. To create your profile, click on the Connect tile. View your profile in the upper right and make sure it is up to date: upload a headshot, enter your personal information summary or bio, and select keywords in your areas of interest. We recommend that you complete your profile as detailed as possible and go back whenever you need to update your networking information.

Lastly, relax and enjoy AI! This networking engine takes a few swipes or clicks to learn about your professional goals, but it is a self-learning system that will continually deliver more intelligent recommendations the more you engage with the platform. So, come back as often as you wish to fine-tune your profile and networking goals.
