Why Submit?

Poster Submission Information and Guidelines

Submissions can relate to any segment of the industry. Examples include, but are not limited to: innovations in material science; composites/advanced materials vs. traditional building materials; composites/advanced materials in construction, corrosion, fire resistance, energy production, “green,” etc.

All accepted entries must be on display at CAMX to be considered for an award. CAMX reserves the right to disqualify entries at any time that do not meet submission guidelines or onsite rules and regulations. All entries must be non-commercial in nature.

Timeline

If your poster entry is accepted, an electronic copy of your final poster must be submitted to CAMX by no later than August 25, 2017. Winners will be selected during the CAMX – The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo.

  • August 4, 2017 – Intent to submit a poster entry deadline
  • August 25, 2017 – Electronic copy of final poster due


Organizing Your Poster

Poster content should be organized according to the following diagram and must not exceed the official CAMX Poster Dimensions. Authors will be sharing one side of a 4 ft. high by 8 ft. wide board with one other entrant.   Posters cannot exceed 3.5 ft. high by 3.5 ft. wide.

Judging Criteria

  • Overall presentation – includes organization of thought and results
  • Importance of research – or significance to the advancement of composites/advanced materials
  • Commercial application – How user-friendly is the information
