CAMX 2016 Unveils the Industry’s Largest Conference Program

A preview of what to expect at the composites industry’s largest educational program and fastest growing expo in North America.

August 11, 2016 (Anaheim, Calif.).) – With over 300 educational sessions (including 11 Featured Sessions) covering more than 100 topics, the third annual CAMX – The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo will offer the largest and most robust conference program in the composites and advanced materials industry. The event will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. from September 26-29, 2016. CAMX, co-produced by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) , is the premier event for new products, composites industry innovation, networking, advanced thinking and solutions.

CAMX 2016 will kick off with an exciting new General Session, open to all attendees and exhibitors, called CAMX Live, featuring innovators and industry leaders including Greg Lynn of the Greg Lynn Show and Daniel Preston, CEO/CTO of Luminati Aerospace. These speakers will share insights on a number of different innovations spanning multiple market applications relevant to the composites industry, and will discuss their view of how composites and advanced materials are impacting the world.

CAMX attendees will discover new advancements from the industry through Featured Sessions that focus on composites innovation, market growth, and hot topics associated with advanced materials technologies. Some of those topics include the growth of additive manufacturing, composites recycling, automotive trends and workforce development. There will also be 300 Education Sessions covering case studies, best practices and issue reviews spanning the composites and advanced materials industry.
