Presidential Support for Composites Manufacturing
In 2012, President Obama proposed a network of manufacturing institutes around the country. These institutes would bring together industry, academia, and federal and state agencies to accelerate innovation by investing in industrially relevant manufacturing technologies with broad applications. Most recently hundreds of composites experts were on site in Knoxville, Tennessee for the launch of the Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI). We will have sessions about IACMI and the other Innovation Centers at CAMX. More information is available in the Conference Program, now online.

Poster Session – The Future on Display
CAMX showcases the innovations of unique – and young – minds in the industry with the Poster Session. On display throughout CAMX for all to read and learn from, the Posters are written by students, universities and company researchers. 2015 Poster Session entries are being accepted until mid-September, and accepted entries compete to be named 2015’s trailblazing research of the year, awarded at CAMX.
